Nviron Hive was one of the sponsors of the LYF Arena – LYF Festival 2025, a dynamic celebration of health, wellness, and community vitality. The festival’s centrepiece was the inaugural Eastern Half Marathon, professionally moderated by the Ghana Athletics Association, which challenged participants with a scenic journey up the Aburi Hills from Ayi Mensah. Our co-founder Otema Yirenkyi participated in the 10K walk, which commenced after the marathon runners.
Energizing music motivated participants throughout the challenging climb through lush vegetation and stunning natural overlooks. At the Aburi Gardens finish line, the celebration continued with African aerobics sessions blending traditional movements with contemporary fitness, nutritious refreshments, on-site health screenings, and wellness merchandise – demonstrating a holistic commitment to wellbeing.
For Otema, walking through the Aburi Hills reinforced a core Nviron Hive belief: personal health and environmental protection are inseparable. The hills, home to diverse plant species and vital ecosystems, serve as a living reminder that protecting our natural spaces supports human wellbeing and community vitality.
