Our Das Biogas team achieved a significant milestone this summer with a high-level meeting with the Honourable

Deputy Minister of Energy and Green Transition. This strategic engagement represents a crucial step forward in our

ambitious 200 schools clean cooking and energy project.

The meeting focused on advancing our biogas initiative that aims to provide sustainable energy solutions to

schools across Ghana, addressing both energy access and environmental challenges simultaneously. Our biogas

technology offers schools a reliable, clean alternative to traditional cooking fuels while creating opportunities for

waste management and organic fertilizer production.

Project Impact Goals:

200 schools equipped with biogas systems for clean cooking and energy

Reduced carbon emissions from traditional cooking methods

Educational opportunities for students to learn about renewable energy

Local job creation through installation and maintenance programs

Waste-to-energy conversion creating circular economy benefits

The Deputy Minister’s engagement demonstrates the government’s commitment to supporting innovative clean

energy solutions in Ghana’s education sector. This partnership aligns perfectly with Ghana’s renewable energy

targets and the broader Tree for Life Initiative’s environmental restoration goals.

Moving forward, we’re optimistic about the potential for policy support and scaling opportunities that this

ministerial engagement will unlock for our clean cooking initiative.
